Parks and Recreation Updates

We are working closely with the Gaston County Health and Human Services Department to evaluate how to best protect our residents and the general public during the coronavirus pandemic.  That includes continuing to asses the access the public has to our parks and outdoor recreation facilities.

The following actions have been or are being taken in regards to our Parks and Recreation programming and facilities:

• All Fall athletic programming is moving forward as normal.  
• All parks and recreation programming, classes, and trips are currently moving forward like normal.  If changes need to be made to protect our residents and program participants we will all current program participants.
