Finance

The Finance Department provides accounting and financial management of all City funds. The department maintains an accounting and reporting system in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), administers the city's financial policies and procedures, prepares the annual budget, monitors the adopted annual budget, administers the investment and debt portfolios, paying financial obligations, overseeing fixed assets records, maintaining the accounting and reporting system software, and works in conjunction with independent auditors preparing the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
