Belmont Juneteenth Celebration

Don't miss this cultural festival of arts, crafts, music, food and more on Saturday, June 18th from 2 to 9 pm at Stowe Park in historic downtown Belmont. Come listen to the smooth jazz sounds of James "Tootie" Hogan or the exciting African drumming sounds from Drums 4 Life where you can participate in the drum circle! There will be food, face painting, art vendors, and more.  There is something for everyone at this event.  Sponsored by the Belmont Juneteenth Celebration Committee, the City of Belmont, and the Downtown Belmont Development Association.  We hope to see you there!

Belmont Firecracker 5K Walk & Run

Start your 4th of July off right! Meet at Stowe Park in Belmont the morning of Monday, July 4th at 8:30 am for a casual "Fireworks 5K" to benefit our local BCO!

Much like the Thanksgiving run that is held to benefit the organization, there is no registration, no fees, no awards... Just bring a monetary donation of ANY amount - 100% to go to BCO - and join us to run/walk. Roads will remain open, but traffic should be light and the course is the familiar Girls on the Run route (& there will be turn signs for those less familiar!).

We'll have a few raffle prizes, some finish line water and treats and FINISHER MEDALS for all kids 12&under! Walkers, runners, speedies and pokies! - young and old - all are welcome! Strollers welcome! Pets welcome!  Beautiful National Anthem, kids tossing 'pop firecrackers' and a fun confetti cannon start!!  Please share, share, share and help us spread the word! Let's enjoy a morning of fitness & fellowship while supporting an awesome organization right here in our own community!
